After the party some of us headed back to Managua and went to Mirador Tiscapa to do a little dancing. This is one of the fanciest clubs in Managua and it's been around for a very long time. The back side of the club overlooks the Tiscapa Lagoon in the middle of Managua. On the opposite side of the lagoon there's a big hill with a giant statue of Sandino on it. Underneath that statue, built into the hillside, is a command center that was used by Somoza's Guardia Nacional and later the Sandinista secret police to torture people.
